1. Driving and Transportation

2. Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck.

• Check brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels.

• Report mechanical issues and schedule repairs if necessary. 3. Cargo Handling and Load Securement

• Load and unload cargo safely (manually or with equipment).

• Secure loads using straps, chains, or tarps to prevent shifting.

• Ensure the truck is not overloaded and meets legal weight limits. 4. Compliance with Regulations

• Follow DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS).

• Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELDs).
