Shell – New Orleans, LA June 2023 – Present

REQ Discipline Planner – Rotating Equipment Planner

I`m the REQ Planner for Shell Offshore. I support 4 assets in the GoM (Gulf of Mexico) Appomattox, Stones, Enchilada and Salsa. Strive toward building trusted relationships with the stakeholders on all the assets I support. Maintain obligations to all stakeholders. Develop detailed planner packages for all the major rotating equipment jobs on these assets. Work with different vendors on material/parts quotes for the jobs being planned. Receive the quotes, share them with the stakeholders and then order the parts/material. Responsible for securing sub-contractors to support these major compressor PM`s and rebuilds. Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisors on the assets to ensure they are getting all the support they need. I work with the IAP Planners to schedule flights for the sub-contractors going offshore to perform the work on the assets. We work closely with the REQ Engineers and REQ Specialist for the machinery standards, best practices and specs on the equipment being repaired/rebuilt/PM`ed and include that information in the planner packages. Hold kick-off meetings before the jobs begin. Hold look-back meeting for lessons learned after jobs are complete. Receive feedback from the field on any bottlenecks or delays and implement corrective actions to mitigate. Before ordering material, check SAP using unique transactions to verify if an MMR exist for the part/material being ordered. Create MMR`s for parts that need to be on the equipment BOM`s.

Maintenance Specialist – Rotating Equipment Planner/Coordinator

Non-Routine Maintenance Planner for Shell Norco. I work to provide detailed planning and estimates for all mechanical NRM jobs. This role assures all scope items are included in the plan and the estimated cost of the job is accurate. Responsible for task development, ordering material and developing a detailed field work package needed to properly execute the job. Responsible for Drafting all permits for NRM Mechanical work. Work closely with the NRM Cost Analyst on the mechanical budget, accountable for annual accruals and monthly LE forecast. Assist in Coordinating work in the field. Responsible for the safety performance of assigned personnel on a TA block during execution. Field verifies work described in Turnaround Scope and develops detailed work scope activities, with craft type and estimated hours, and plans. Assesses job to understand the optimal plan to achieve turnaround premises including low cost and safety performance. Creates bill of material for assigned work, requisitions material, and ensures all material is delivered in compliance with milestones. Assembles work packages with detailed information for planning and execution. Identification, review, and escalation of high-risk activities. Ensures compliance to plant orders, policies and procedures including, but not limited to Downstream One, MOC, quality, and addenda processes. Loads job logic to efficiently execute scope of work and resource levels in P6. Completes estimate of Direct Field Labor hours, overheads, materials, and equipment for assigned jobs. Communicates key issues and risks to the TA Block Leader and Event Manager. Required to function as a Field Coordinator during execution for at least part of the TA Block area. Ensures Quality requirements are included in the job planning & accounted for in the schedule. Provides a critique of turnaround activities after completion of project, participates in Lessons Learned and Lookback process. Mindful of and continues to look for opportunities to reduce turnaround scope, and plan and execute with low cost mindset. Manages, prioritizes and schedules all maintenance activities at the plant. Builds weekly maintenance schedules, manages the maintenance backlog and identifies any emergency break-in work that requires immediate attention.

Maintains the work maintenance system (AIMM) for the plant. Ensures all outstanding work is documented with a current work request detailing the required scope of work. Planner for the Phos Acid July 2015 Turnaround using Microsoft Projects. Built the Schedule for all crafts and update daily throughout the turnaround. Responsible for planning all work on the Flare Vapor Recovery Project. Duties include but are not limited to building FIWP (Field Installation Work Packages) These are detailed work packages for the crews in the field to execute their work in a safe and efficient manner. Packages include scope of work, safety requirements, P6 schedule, equipment requirements, QA/QC requirements, material status, scaffolding if needed and required drawings. Work packages are required for any and all work performed on the project. The program ConstrucSlim is used to build the packages for all piping, stationary equipment and rotating equipment. I have planned over 51,000LF of piping, set two Dresser Compressors with their skids and numerous pressure vessels/knock out pots to date on this project. Project bid was $25,000,000 USD.

Responsible for planning and scheduling daily, weekly and all TAR work for Tank Farm, Utilities and Plant-Wide (ADMIN). Manage all Subcontractors assigned to me. Write requisitions for repairs and service work in Units assigned to me. Order all material for all jobs in my area. Manage all PM work for the Tank Farm and Utilities. Maintenance Supervisor – Rotating Equipment

Responsible for the supervision of 8-15 employees and all repairs of rotating equipment both inside and outside of the refinery including major repairs to the compressors and turbines. Coordinate with other craft supervisors on work execution and report all progress daily to the Maintenance Superintendent and Operations Group. Manage all backlog of work for the Millwright employees. Track progress of Millwright CBT’s. Coordinate daily and monthly safety meeting for the Millwright Group.
