2019-2024 Global Head, Data Management, Citigroup Corporate Tax:
Led teams and developed policies and action plans in response to 2020 Consent order imposed by OCC (Office of Comptroller of Currency) and FRB (Federal Reserve Board). Built a global team of four regional Tax Data Stewards (NAM, LATAM, APAC and EMEA). Identified risks and implemented solutions for over 200 system issues encountered by Tax Teams globally in coordination with regional teams. Ensured compliance with Consent Order mandates and developed detailed documentation on procedures and standards.
2007-2019 Manager, Tax Information Systems, Citigroup:
Led Tax system integration and automation, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations. Designed and led development of custom reports, including the Worldwide Net Income (WWNI) report. Transitioned various tax processes to TaxSeries App. Set up a Tax Data Warehouse that would generate a Trial Balance to directly upload to TaxSeries using Web Services. Ensured that change management was executed as per rules. Also automated various manual adjustments. Managed staffing, budgeting and scheduling of Corporate Tax Projects.
