My Purpose
Is to support organizations in their pursuit of their individual purposes. I have been practicing continuous improvement principles through change management initiatives with companies for 16 years with great successes. By focusing on creating a sustainable platform that perpetuates performances by increasing the engagement level of the human capital asset through utilizing waste removal lean principles. I practice continuous improvement processes through a systematical, sustainable, lean, step-by-step “tried-and- tested” methodology.
My contribution as a great leader, having worked with teams from executive level right down to shop floor level gives me the advantage to be part of any team. Experience

I was employed to form part of a team of Industrial Engineers adopting skills of a group of international consultants implementing Lean as a change behavior process. After the consultants left we continued with the implementations.
I then moved into manufacturing and worked in vehicle assembly for 5 years. Here I was involved firsthand in experiencing lean at work.
As a new aspiring manager I complied with a leadership grading process offered by the company and was given an A+ rating. At that stage there where no progressive positions in the company and I started looking elsewhere.

Federal Mogul Sealing Systems 03/1998 – 01/2000
Out of 72 applicants nation wide I was selected for the position as Operational Manufacturing Manager with a team of about 500 people.
Within a short period of time teams where established with KPI’s measuring their performances and Visual Workplace-5S started being implemented.
Strategically changes at global level caused me to be retrenched from the position. Core Responsibilities:

• Create a culture of continuous improvement

Throughput Improvement Consultancy ( www.ticconsulting.co.za) 03/2000 – 03/2001 I started an Industrial Engineering company supplying basic Industrial engineering task to corporations. The services consisted of setting time standards, designing layouts, process mapping and the development of standard operational procedure.

Competitive Dynamics International (www.cdi.biz) 04/2001 – 12/2012 While consulting at an automotive component supplier I was approached by one of the management consultants of CDI and offered associate ship. For the last 5 years I practiced as a Partner at Competitive Dynamics International.
Each individual member was individually responsible to market the Mission Directed Work Team program, negotiate the contract and then plan the strategy with the executive team of the prospective client. The modules we trained clients on were :

I was personally involved in acquiring the largest acquisition for the team. This was a team consisting of 13 000 people. I coordinated as lead consultant the progress of 5 CDI consultants for the implementation. Many other diversified clients are still today my clients. Core Responsibilities:

The new consulting team focuses on engagement through lean practices. Through the application of the methodology the changes take place at frontline level to contribute to the organization with a cost saving behavior. The core focus is to empower team members to be aware of potential savings, calculate the ROI and then present the results to management. For the past 3 years I have listed new clients who have embarked on this change management methodology.
Currently the two companies I consult with are Adcock Ingram (Pharmaceutical) and Federal Mogul Motor Parts (Automotive). In both cases my report structure is with the executive team. Education
