Sheldon Clubhouse is a community intentionally organized to support individuals living with the effects of mental illness. Through her involvement, Dionne has found meaningful work opportunities, received support and developed strong, supportive relationships. She is actively engaged at Sheldon Clubhouse weekly and is highly regarded by her peers as a leader.

As a member, Dionne has had the opportunity to volunteer on various projects and tasks, allowing her to develop and apply leadership and problem-solving skills. She has also provided vital support to other Clubhouse members in their mental health journeys, exemplifying the core values of our community. Her ability to uplift and encourage those around her demonstrates her dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive environment. Dionne’s training and ongoing development will be beneficial both professionally and in achieving her long-term goals. Additionally, her growth and skill-building contribute positively to the experiences of other Sheldon Clubhouse members. A key component of the Clubhouse program is providing members with opportunities for support, resources, and skill development, and Dionne has consistently embraced these opportunities to better herself and those around her.

In recognition of her leadership and contributions, Dionne now serves on the Sheldon Clubhouse Advisory Board and Finance Committee. In these roles, she actively participates in shaping the direction of the Clubhouse, advocating for the needs of its members, and contributing to financial decision-making processes that support the sustainability of our programs.

Dionne’s dedication, leadership, and resilience make her an asset to the Sheldon Clubhouse community and any future professional endeavor she pursues.
