NEPA
Responsible for ensuring the SPR National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) program is fully and appropriately implemented on the SPR. Coordinate phases of development and implementation of an Environmental Management System for DOE. Works with cross functional teams, conduct meeting, track progress on projects, provided document control, assisted in writing an EMS manual, assisted in ISO 14001 certification.
Obtains and maintains Corp of Engineers Permits for all projects at all sites as required by Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, and Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act.
Provides primary comprehensive environmental review of all projects to include Purchase Requisitions, Engineering Scopes of Work and Design Changes for the SPR environmental program, coordinating feedback and comments from environmental subject matter experts.
