Responsible for developing and implanting strategy goals and process for efficient emergency care for 7 acute Emergency Departments and 2 Free standing EDs. Improved overall arrival to bed, arrival to physician greet and first order times and decreased overall LPT/LPMSE and AMA rates. Served as liaison between the San Antonio Division and the HCA Corporate Division. Developed a military to RN bridge program for transitioning warriors and implements use of military medic and paramedics in the Emergency Departments. CNO Methodist Stone Oak Hospital :(2010-2013)
Responsible for all areas of nursing functions. During this time increased initial greenfield bed capacity from 87 beds to 140 beds. Succeeded in reducing RN turnover to under 12%, consistently met financial goals and increased employee satisfaction. Vice President Patient Care: Methodist Stone Oak Hospital (2009-2010) Responsible for facility opening and oversite of the Emergency Department and the inpatient acute nursing units.
