Extensive professional experience with Information Technology, spanning all aspects of enterprise business information and client/server systems and networks. This includes all major flavors of UNIX, with an emphasis on IBM’s AIX operating system and virtualization, enterprise-wide planning and roll-out, and specialized training and practical deployment experience with Tivoli, Unicenter, HPOV and Websphere on multiple heterogeneous platforms. The bulk of these servers were managed by twin, redundant VIO servers. Tasks included VIO server builds and configurations, lpar builds, HACMP Cluster builds, SVC disk storage allocations, dynamic LUN expansion, activating Capacity on Demand, maintaining 18 HMCs, lead systems engineer on majority of SEV I calls, and a myriad of other 3rd. level support activities.
