Additional Experience: Document Control Technician, Husky Energy – Calgary, AB

Managed all projects under one million dollars. The annual total was significantly greater than the major projects Husky Energy was engaged in at that time. Job book creation, entering all relevant information and revisions into HDMS or Open Text, review of redlines, Squad Checks, document number requests, filing for offsite, retrieving files from Iron Mountain, maintaining record logs. The role covered from conception to completion of all projects under the one million dollar criteria, while managing all these projects I also helped in other departments as well as participated with data management with “Major Projects”. This role also engaged drafting, procurement, and SAP. Hardisty and Cold Lake were a couple of projects I was also involved in with Husky. I believe that Cenovus acquired Cold Lake and then Strathcona.

I also managed a metal building fabrication plant “Bigfoot Metals”. There I purchases all raw materials, provided all estimates for future work, organized shop staff of ten, field crew of twelve, and designed all buildings, utilidor, tank insulation. I also provided estimates for pipe insulation and material take-offs from the piping and instrumentation diagrams

As far as upstream I have worked on a triple drilling rig ( that is thirty meter sections of drill stem) I have also taken the role of H2S safety specialist and know how to rig in air lines to an entire rig, perform a soft and hard shut in, and train rig crews how to dawn safety equipment.

This is only a small indication of what I am capable of; I can go into more detail and answer any questions that I haven’t covered.
