More:
I was able to streamline the onboarding process at a home health agency by bringing people who had trouble with technology to the office to help them all at once. They did not speak English well and were not as savvy with technology as they could have been. We all worked on onboarding together. This made them more loyal to me and to the company, helped to lose less people with the onboarding process, and helped with employee retention.
Lead Recruiter
Bayhealth Hospital
(September 2022- May 2024)
-Senior member of the Recruiting Team at Bayhealth
-Consistently the highest producing recruiter
-Personally filled 25-35% of positions as part of a Talent Acquisition Team of 10+ recruiters

-Trained and mentored other recruiters

-Started and Implemented Highly Successful Nursing Assistant Internship Program
-Suggested and Developed CRNA program and was able to hire 14 CRNAs
-Successful with hiring candidates from online job boards and social media
-Worked with Infor System
More:
I started the Internal House Registry at Bayhealth to convert contractors to full and part time nurses. They can work two contracts being paid internally by the hospital instead of being paid by a contractor and then must decide whether they will stay. They get 25.00 more per hour than a staff nurse for that time.
I initiated the on- call weekend program which included a team of four professionals like CRNAs- two would be on call, staying within an hour of the hospital and would get a stipend to stay on call on a weekend and two would be working. If the two on call are needed, they will be called in. On the off weekends, the teams switch
I worked with our social media department to secure automatic postings on Linkedin, including posting jobs, promoting the brand, and increasing overall company and individual employee visibility. This all happened automatically because I had 250 reqs to fill and I could not post on Linkedin at that pace.
Checked licenses and certifications online, developed a standardized intake form in order to secure pertinent information from candidates before sending them to hiring managers.
Worked with a nurse search company to eliminate services and only paying for what we used. The service provided contact information and minimal follow up. Our recruiters searched for nurses and interviewed them. We as the client did all the recruiting and onboarding. The only thing we paid for was the database and the company follow up with the nurses they presented to us.
Held nurse job fairs
Connected with schools and presented our hospital to classrooms full of healthcare workers
Sponsored booths at professional organizations
Contracted with search firms to develop databases
Developed internships to directly hire proficient interns at the end of their internship experience
Initiated referral bonuses and sign on bonuses for nurses
Met with every hiring manager once a week or more about their ongoing needs and specific requirements for their department
Scheduled all interviews for hiring managers with their preset calendars. Worked with unit clerks to make sure all interviews happened
Developed spreadsheets with each hiring manager to best track their hires and potential candidates starting on what scheduled dates
Sent local employees down to escort candidates to the units in order to better serve the candidate and to make sure that the hiring manager was able to meet with the candidate on time and be able to spend quality time with the hiring manager
