Worked as part of a small team to enhance and maintain existing legacy applications. Rolled a department-by-department, manual inventory management process up into a unified process that allocated inventory across the entire company. Created a new reporting framework which allowed more flexible report creation, and better web viewing. Created several reports utilizing this framework, to replace a number of old reports which were out of date and could no longer be edited in the current version of Crystal Reports. Implemented a number of QlikView 10 reports to allow dynamic reporting on a variety of business data.

Created a library of DHTML/JavaScript classes which performed live validation for a data-entry system for patient admissions during periods when a hospital’s normal Healthcare Information System is offline. Developed a standardized back-end which powered custom front-ends with HTML form layouts mimicking exiting hospital admission forms, and reduced the implementation time of each client by over 75%. Designed and developed a hospital admissions suite, as part of a five-developer team, involving a redesign and merge of several separate but related software packages into a single, uniform product. I was responsible for the design and development of a module to collect, manage, and print patient photos on hospital admission and consent forms to aid in positive patient identification, as well as a module to collect, print, and manage electronic signatures for hospital admission and consent forms.
Revamped and streamlined the user-interface for a product providing secure, on-demand check and gift-certificate printing. As part of a two-developer team, created the Transaction Research System to retain and manage check images and information. Allowed archival of old data, with the ability to search both live and archived transaction data. Developed, updated and maintained installation packages for several applications. Also served as the primary tester for several applications.
