Sign and date as applicable on the client / project approved Suppliers Inspection and Test Plan signifying verification and completion of specified activities with relevant inspection codes.

Timely issuance of detailed supplier quality surveillance inspection and status reports. Reports are to include detailed and current information related to expected completion dates; engineering, fabrication, and material status; inspection activities; and quality concerns related to each P.O. item tag number.

Document supplier non-conformance to requirements by completing a detailed Action Item List form, and/or issuance of Non-Conformance Report.

Review of quality surveillance documents and informing the Project Supplier Quality Surveillance Coordinator if there are any issues with documents as issued.

Perform audits of the Supplier Quality Surveillance Inspectors for compliance to the requirements of the assignment packages, Quality System Manual, and the latest SOP.

Provide assistance and guidance to the Supplier Quality Surveillance Inspectors where deficiencies have been identified.

Assist and perform personnel interviews and audits of third party and contract personnel prior to supplier quality surveillance inspector resource selection.

Schedule and conduct Pre-Inspection Meetings, as established by Client / criticality ratings and the client / project approved Suppliers Inspection and Test Plan.

Perform random audits of E&I SQS Inspectors to ensure that they maintain, complete, and return the Inspection Assignment Folder with the client / project approved Suppliers Inspection and Test Plan off to the Project Supplier Quality Surveillance Coordinator.

“EX COORDINATOR” Responsibilities: -

Plan and schedule for daily Ex.

Inspections coordination

To plan and carry out Ex inspections, Certifying all Ex-items for explosive proof with relevant attachment.

Organize/ Supervise the Inspection team and rectify if any minor issues encountered during inspections.

Coordinate with other trade Engineers/ Foreman

Review Ex zones and verify E&I equipment installation with zone/ classification.

Review Ex-check sheets, approve and coordinate with the PIMS team for the daily update.

Participation in System completion line walk and Verify Mechanical Completion.

Preparation of special tools and spares requirements.

Participation in risk assessments and toolbox talks.

Prepare JHA/ JSA/ RA. Ensure that relevant permit systems and preventive safety measures in place and HSE procedures are adhered to.

Awareness of explosion hazards, how arise and how we protect ourselves

Understanding the relationship between flammable materials and equipment that can be installed in those areas

Ability to read and understand certification labels/Markings

Ability to use inspection schedules

Ability to identify potential non-conformance related to hazardous area installation

Coordinating with design and selection of equipment for Zone 0, Zone 1, and Zone 2 leads to cost savings

Maintain equipment in explosive atmospheres

Overhaul and repair of explosion-protected equipment
