I was responsible for estimating the on and off-site work for school projects, which entailed Soils Reports, Demo, Grading, Storm Drains, Concrete, Fire Alarms, Electrical, Plumbing, Low Voltage, and any trade under the sections that apply for that project per plans and specs. Generated the request for bids from subcontractors for the scope of work that was related to their sections. Interface with subs to make sure all work was accounted for. This would include generate RFI’s. Quality and negotiate subs proposals to ensure a fair and competitive number in their proposal. Job walks, submittals and PSA.
