Reporting to the CEO; CEO’s office of the Tata Solar Corporate Office based out of Electronic City. We have five offices on the whole, including our manufacturing plant based here; This is the head office where all Senior Execs and Officers are stationed.
Prime responsibilities of Calendar management and Executive management aside, VIP guest relations was highly integral – the corporate office and Tata Solar as an entity, catered to myriad requests from big and small companies alike, which would sometimes lead to crucial partnerships. Designated as EA to the Vice President of AOL India Portal (AOL Interactive Media); It was the newest and most integral part of team AOL. Around sixty members in total, with the Ad Sales operating out of Mumbai and Delhi.
AOL India was a separate team amongst AOL Development; so my role as an EA often transformed into that of an Administrator and Communicator, overseeing the administration and basic facility functions as a whole. Providing official support in all required domains to my Manager was undoubtedly my foremost concern. Handled highly confidential documentation, correspondence and relevant reports, including senior -meeting minutes. Weekly MIS reporting and status updating. Oversaw and coordinated incoming/outgoing correspondence - within India and overseas, upholding internal mail protocols and meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities apart from my Manager’s calendar ranged from travel to event-management: new page-releases on various media, important guest theme-parties, employee engagement activities and R&R and also CSR events for our department. Overseeing co-ordination with the facility/transport team for Aol.in became my onus as my manager trusted only me to handle this dicey contract. Saved company both time and money by devising and implementing travel booking on own corporate card without having to depend on the in-house travel desk.
