WNC Insurance Wilshire National Corporation, Simi Valley, CA5/83 – 1/89
I was a staff adjuster after 6 months in Underwriting. Eventually, my boss, Jerry Tolentino and I developed a field adjusting program to handle the work we had from Old Republic Insurance. WNC was a Managing General Agency for them in California and part of the claims department income came from the money we could save in the investigation of claims. We both learned how to investigate claims, write estimates and in the end help save money which became translated into bonus at the end of the year.
