Warehouse Supervisor - 2011- 2016
As warehouse supervisor, I was responsible for the storage and retrieval of raw material, component parts and finished goods. To assist in accomplishing this task, I utilized our ERP system (Ml) to establish the initial location of all items, as well as tracking all the "in's" and "outs" of the inventory. A key part of my daily duties was to review upcoming job order's and then locate, stage, and deliver components and raw material to the CNC cell, the Lathe department, the Press department as well as the Assembly department. Timing and planning were key to allow for the streamlined production and assembly of our finished goods.
It was also my direct responsibility to ensure the accuracy of all items stored and to conduct cycle counts as well as annual inventory counts to satisfy outside auditor needs.
Hydraulic Press Operator 2005-2011
As a Hydraulic Press Operator, I was involved with the stamping press tool and die set-up and tear down, as well as the stamping of the parts. At TriTec we not only stamp component parts, but we also utilize our presses to stamp the parts "closed". In order to be successful at this job, I utilized my skill at reading manufacturing prints, established the correct closing height of the parts while using the proper gages to ensure the parts were within specifications via periodic quality check
Finished Goods Assembly 1995 -2005
TriTec Seal designs and manufactures custom rotary lip seals. These seals contain several critical parts within each seal. Sometimes the parts contained 8 or 9 items ranging from ptfe wafers, elastomer gaskets, washers, and inner metal cases. Each component is critical to the success of the seal. As part of the Assembly team, it was my responsibility to ensure that the correct components were being used and that they were assembled in the correct order prior to the seal being closed at the closing press. An additional responsibility was to form the ptfe sealing element in the correct direction via a forming press. This operation was also vital to the success of the seal and if done incorrectly could lead to catastrophic failure of the seal.
Additional Responsibilities 1995-2016
As a member of the TriTec team for over 20 years, I also took on the added responsibility of helping wherever I could. For nearly 20 years, I drove a forklift to move steel around the plant, load and unload trucks, put pallets of components away in the warehouse, and as otherwise needed throughout the plant. I would also perform maintenance on our forklifts as needed.
For the past 10 years TriTec utilized my Chauffeur license to drive a freight truck to metal processing facilities and other suppliers to execute our PO's for either component parts or parts out for heat treat or special finishing.
