Initially hired as a Contractor strategically assigned to support both the conversion of procurement systems and the migration of Northrop Grumman Corporate Contracts into the procurement baseline at AOA Inc. Hired full-time in February 2008.
Acted as interim purchasing manager after the previous manager left the company.
Worked with facilities as the procurement project manager for a $1.5M facilities upgrade at our East Hartford location, negotiated savings of over $100K.
Managed multiple suppliers in Europe and Canada for special optics and laser related products as well as handling ITAR and Import related issues for foreign products migrating into Government programs across multiple product lines.
