Lead Worker from 1985-1997

State Bureau of Fiscal Services worked with lead accountants on forecasts and worksheets and worked with billing coordinators in every aspect of collecting money for the state. Consultant for the Department of Revenue for many years, collecting information on clients in the institutions.

Worked with lead accountants’ year-end reconciliation to provide statements to the Department of Administration. Assisted General Accounting with sorting and matching Community Aids System checks. Assisted Pre-audit with error reports by providing the types of errors sent or received. Worked on supplemental rush checks to DOA to meet deadlines.

Contacted state agencies regarding the error percentage received, using Excel and Microsoft Word.

Assisted on interview panels sending out letters to the applicants, and prepared questions for the interview panel. Upon arrival of applicants, tested for grammar, spelling and punctuation, and aided in the candidate selection process.

Worked on Billing child support payments and corresponded with county child support agencies by letters, and used Microsoft Word. Transcribed cassettes from staff to generate reports, letters, and memos.

Anne Marie helped another associate on her job who had chest pains and she contacted the Human Resource staff for help, and was taken to urgent care and was treated. While the associate was waiting for a ride Anne Marie gave tums to the employee and water. When the employee came back to work three days later, she thanked Anne Marie and told the other associates what happened at the urgent care.
