RESPONSIBILITIES
GRE – Glass Reinforced Epoxy
Review of isometric & piping layout of ongoing GRE installation and make sure that the drawing are up date prior to fabrication and erection
Check actual dimension, co-ordination and elevation of installed GRE pipe and assembly with surveyor and make sure that changes (if any) area incorporated in all relevant drawing (Red line/As built)
Arrangement for incoming material inspection and get clearance before using
Proper storage and handling the pipes and fittings
Follow the client comments or punch lists and make sure for completion of on schedule time
Attend weekly progress meeting with construction manager
Supervision and arrangement for hydro and gravity test Equipment Fabrication.
To prepare material list according to drawings and issuing the material from warehouse.
Layout marking and cutting of sheet for equipment (Vassal, Heat Exchanger, column, Ejector, tanks.
Beveling (single/double), grinding, fit-up the joints according to approved procedure.
Fit up of nozzles, plate form clips, ladder clips, pipe supports.
Equipment dimension verification before start welding.
To verify equipment dimensions after welding.
Arranging the fabrication according to materials group (CS, SS, Duplex, Alloy Steel)
Preparation for hydro testing, leak testing & pneumatic testing of equipment’s. Plant piping fabrication & Erection
To prepare material list according to drawings and issuing the material from warehouse.
Spool marking on isomeric drawings.
Pipe marking and cutting.
Beveling (Single/Double), grinding, fit-up the joints according to approved procedure.
Spools dimension verification before start welding.
To verify spool dimensions after welding.
To identify the spool with weld no`s, spool no`s as per drawings.
Arranging the fabrication according to materials group (CS, SS, duplex, Alloy Steel)
Piping erection as per approved drawings plans & P& l diagram.
To complete the lines, installation of valves and connect with equipment’s.
To complete the punch list point.
Material traceability by color coding (fitting, pipe & consumable material.)
Preparation for hydro testing, leak testing & pneumatic testing U/G & A/G piping.
Cleaning, flushing / air blowing the lies.
Commissioning & chemical cleaning the systems.
To prepare daily progress report.
