MICHAEL JOHAN PÉREZ CALDERÓN

Colombian artist (**88) finished his studies in plastic and

visual arts at the University of Tolima, for more than twelve years he has been developing his proposal of intervention of spaces for the intentional construction of knowledge. His artistic work has been developed from the continuous exploration of the artist's work in society, assuming the role of artist-manager. His creative research interests are marked by the constant confrontation of hypotheses in different branches of human knowledge to originate non- violent knowledge and its direct relationship with the territory, the people and their characteristics.

He has been the creator of different professional training programs given to instructors and teachers, formulated advanced studies on interrelational aesthetics for the work with communities (a development in context of the cultural approach of N. Borrriaud) and the founder and co-creator of the virtual museum SENA (virtual platform type video game for the creation of intentional knowledge).

He has also participated as a lecturer in different scenarios such as; V National Symposium of Literary Studies of the University of Tolima, 1st international congress of SENA, V regional symposium of artistic education, Achievements and challenges of pedagogical research and

systematization of experiences of CLACSO among others. He is currently studying cultural management and creating the painting series "Disappearances", a pictorial portrait about the political and territorial power game of Latin American peoples.

- To make available to institutions and entities different pedagogical alternatives on art and stimulate their practices in formal and informal spaces.
