Responsible for teaching grades 9 to 12 Housing, Nutrition Food Science and Personal Finance. 1975 2000 Southwestern Bell/ATT Telephone Company: Information Operator for 1 year, (outside Tech) Installation and Repair 4 years, and Revenue Management for 20 years. These jobs required me to deal with customers one on one in a professional manner for giving information and collecting overdue payments.
1964-1973 Texas Instruments: Wire Welder and Communication Technician. COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:
• FCCLA Regional Advisor for Parliamentary Law for 3 years, High School advisor 8 years.
• Served 9 years on Greenville City Council & 2 years member of the North Central Texas Council of Government Board of Directors, based in Arlington, TX; 2 years member of State of Texas Attorney General’s Advisory Committee.
• Charter member of the Greenville Tri-County National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women of America; Charter member of the National Association of Colored Women’s Darcus Club of Hunt County
