Duties and Job Responsibilities:
• Review and study of tender documents, scope of work, drawings, BOQ, specification, client requirement and etc. from the tender documents for proper estimating works.
• Understand the requirement and ability to read consultants / sub contractor’s drawings.
• Preparing technical queries for ambiguities in drawings, specification and BOQ.
• Prepare and send RFQ for all the items to all approved equal suppliers/sub-contractor to obtain required quotations.
• Follow up with the supplier/sub-contractor to obtain quotation in time, clarify to all their queries and meeting with the supplier/sub-contractor when required.
• Evaluate quotations obtained from different suppliers/sub-contractors, ensure quantities and specification are in line with tender and project specifications.
• Preparing estimates by calculating complete electrical take-off for both High current & Low current system.
• Carry out the accurate quantity review of the awarded project to clear all the clarification before final agreement.
