Senior Project Manager and Superintendent Manager, Business Development, August 2024 – Present In my role I managed projects from design to completion through design build, CM or GC delivery methods. Lead teams of AE professionals along with site superintendents to achieve a favorable project outcome through budget control, schedule oversight, project team management and client management. I was charged with managing all site superintendents for the construction department to include, project evaluations, week and bi-weekly best practices and lessons learned meetings, site visits, employee annual performance reviews, goals setting and intervention as needed. I handled the business development and subcontractor development efforts in mid, central and northern Michigan encompassing 41 counties to include pre project review for viability. I would give oversight to other project managers for their assigned projects as needed for conflict resolution, sight coverage, project manual reviews, scope reviews, submittal approvals and contract reviews. I assisted with business plan submittal to principals of the company for new employee’s needed, department revenue goals setting, new market reviews and setting margins. Part of my job was to establish new and update existing SOP’s for improved project cost capturing, capitalizing and implementing new profit centers within our project bidding and execution and improved overall project performance. Another portion of my role was to support the preconstruction actions to include assisting the estimation group, scope gap reviews, vendor sourcing and quantity take offs.
