At my local homeless shelter I was a volunteer and still am I go there from time to time and help out if staff is low. I will help prepare and serve breakfast or lunch, or supervise the lot and make sure everyone is safe and no drug use of any kind is on the property. Most of all just being there for our fellow brothers and sisters, and helping them in a crucial time of need. Whether that’s just being there for them or helping them out with hygiene packs, to-go food and snacks, Showers, shelter, transportation etc. Some of the things I did was:
