I managed 15 employees in an aerospace machine shop. In the one
year that I was there I improved the processes that reduced cost of goods by purchasing equipment to speed up the deburr processes
and cut out waste and scrap. I managed the overall operations of
the facility and worked with employees to improve the utilization
and efficiency percentages.

PRODUCTION MANAGER
During this period, I managed as many as 190 employees across 3 shifts. We made many process improvements to increase production. I developed and wrote most of the welding procedures for the company, according to ASME Section IX, and many of the work instructions for the production shop.
I helped develop an ERP system, in association with Global Shop Solutions, to move from running the company on Excel Spreadsheets, to an integrated ERP system.
11/08 – 07/09 LICENSED HEALTH INSURANCE AGENT (Texas).
I was working out of my home office, in selling customized
health care plans, to small business owners and individuals.
I also was driving a school bus for the CISD, part
time.
01/07 - 09/08 TWSCO, 10210 North Freeway, Houston
ASSET UTILIZATION MANAGER
My focus during this period was on cylinder management and procurement. The goal was to better utilize the asset to reduce the need for new cylinder purchases. I used the Kaizen, 6S, process to help accomplish this task.
Also, I was tasked to manage all special projects during this period, which included a remodel of the new Fill Plant, to include more specialty gases, and increase production on some of the fill lines.
I procured bulk tank permits through the City of Houston for TWSCO customers, along with doing cylinder audits, at customer sites.
I was also responsible for maintenance and repair of all of TWSCO facilities.
01/03 - 01/07 TWSCO, 10210 North Freeway, Houston
FACILITY MANAGER
Moved the Fill Plant and Distribution from one location to another and made several upgrades in production and delivery capabilities.
I managed the design and building of the new Fill Plant, and total reorganization of the storage yards to inventory gases and cylinders.
We built a completely palletized fill plant, in association with Tonatco Cyrogenics. I increased the production/man-hour by 40% while decreasing the labor dollars by another 40%. The new palletized fill plant took the cylinders pumped from 20,000 to almost 40,000, on one shift, without O.T.
I also managed the machine repair and overall Service Center for the company, and the Micro-Bulk part of the business. I also helped start the Specialty Gas Lab for UHP gases.
During this period, I managed as many as 60 employees.
04/99 - 01/03 TWSCO (Texas Welding Supply Co., Inc.), 1806 Federal Rd., Houston
BRANCH MANAGER
Total operation of a welding gas fill plant and retail sales outlet and gas distribution facility. During this period, I managed as many as 35 employees and numerous other managers. I also wrote the bulk of the Fill Plant Procedure Manual, during this period, which included the cylinder repair procedures, from high pressure to cryogenic cylinders.
TWSCO built a new corporate office that I supervised from plans to completion.
04/95 - 04/99 SELF-EMPLOYED & TRI CONTRACTING, Houston
During this 4-year period I worked in several fields, simultaneously.
Commercial mowing operation on larger tracts of land and contracting my services to a commercial remodeling company, as a superintendent on remodel and new build outs. During this time, I worked on numerous build outs for Earl Scheib Auto Paint locations all across Texas. I also managed a complete project from plans to completion on a 25,000 square foot office and warehouse.
