Interaction Designer, Intuit – QuickBooks Online January to August 2024
Designing components and patterns libraries in Figma for the QBO design system.
Designing for all aspects of FinTech through the eyes of the SMB, Solopreneur and Accountant personas.
Conducted 1:1 user studies and user interviews relating to personal financial management user journeys with core persona participants.

Designed components and messaging frameworks (in Figma) for Whatsapp, allowing retailers to sell to customers seamlessly via Salesforce
Designed messaging frameworks in Figma for Nike’s iOS mobile app, a consumer e-commerce experience utilizing the SF platform
Managed all user testing (on Usertesting.com) for about a dozen UX teams.
Created prototypes in Figma for eGPT, a generative AI/large language model built to eliminate time-intensive parts of common user journeys.

Led User Experience & Research and creation of Design Systems for many enterprise B2B engagements over 9+ years (working in Figma for last 5 years) for HPI, HPE, DuPont, ADA, Microsoft, Silicon Valley Bank and others. Projects included:
Creating a Design System and an end-to-end service portal for a network of law firms (RMS). The foundation of what we designed was a document management system that allowed seamless communication between attorneys and clients across multiple engagements. Led the user experience and research of this engagement including creating discussion guides, conducting interviews and formulating findings around common
themes and desired outcomes. This research along with important insights gained from Power BI became the basis for the design phase where I led the UX and conducted user testing sessions. Post-release I again used Power BI to surface insights from KPI’s to help provide the foundation for the next phase of the design.
Led the user research for an HPE compensation modeling desktop app and native iOS app. The effort included developing personas, recruited participants for research studies, creating discussion guides, conducted/recorded user interviews resulting in discovering key themes and issues which would become the basis for the design of the apps.
Developed a Design System of 32 components for mobile and desktop, research included stakeholder & user interviews and data analytics to inform our designs. Conducted user testing with 12 participants. Led a team of 5 UX designers in the redesign of Silicon Valley Bank’s public-facing site after their acquisition of Boston Private Bank.

Designed and patented a mobile app (iOS) to monetize social media engagement through gamification; developed initial concept, built prototype/mockup of application, and managed the end-to-end development process.

Led the user experience and information design components for two releases of Windows MultiPoint Server, a shared resource computing solution for schools and emerging markets:
Conducted the initial user research, customer visits, created personas, authored scenarios, developed user flows and wireframes. Built prototypes of the software interface in PowerPoint (clickable paper prototypes), to test functionality, then converted to higher-fidelity mockups in HTML5, CSS for subsequent rounds of testing.
Collaborated closely with developers, program managers, testers, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of the software with core user needs and business requirements
Led v-next product planning with management/leadership to evangelize user-centered and scenario-focused design of product, implemented user impact scores
Managed the entire UX process from start to finish, across two overlapping 18-month development cycles, with the final products shipping 3/2011 and 11/2012
Worked with local school district to implement beta program, found elementary school, worked with Principal to host beta site
Managed the design of multiple properties/websites under the Microsoft.com umbrella:
Developed websites for the Software Assurance Program, Group Licensing Program, and Product Information Center—all high-traffic sites visited by millions of users each year
Made key strategic decisions regarding the look, feel, and layout of each site, ensuring that each property was consistent with Microsoft's overall brand standards
Leveraged HTML and CSS extensively in the above projects
