Implemented a Dyeing chemistry change within the dyeing process to lower dye bath pH thus using 10% less dyestuffs. This resulted in a $250,000 savings for the company in raw material spending as well as sending cleaner effluent to local water authority.
Took the lead in replacing dye raw material suppliers in 2012. This change resulted in an annual savings over $1 million dollars. This was an ongoing initiative as the dyestuff marketplace remains volatile.
Endeavored to build stronger relationships with all raw material suppliers and identified opportunities to become more competitive in the ever-evolving marketplace.
