Serves as Project Manager on projects involving new and/or remodeling construction activities.
Provides professional assistance, direction, and leadership as an Architectural Designer / Project Manager to an assigned project team such as Architectural / Engineering team selection, contractor recommendations / selection, fees, programming and design concepts, aesthetics, and schedules.
Directs Consulting Architects, Engineers, and Contractors, and makes recommendations or decisions concerning firms, schedules, and performance of consulting firms. Negotiates, prepares and / or reviews A/E agreements, Contractor Agreements, and other professional agreements as required. Participates as a team member on project development teams as assigned.
Manages day-to-day construction on assigned projects. Leads construction coordination meetings, assures that schedules and budgets are maintained, reviews change orders, Architect and Contractor pay requests, reviews construction quality, and assures that decisions made by the Construction Coordination Team are in the best interest for the client.
Reviews and comments on design documents, construction documents, specifications, estimates, engineering reports, and code interpretations.
Solves the day-to-day issues that arise on the assigned projects. Assures that communication between team members takes place as necessary and when a decision and / or action required, works to solve it in a timely manner.
Acts as a subject matter expert and resource to others. Maintains a working knowledge and applies the International Building Codes, and Life Safety Codes.
Review drawings, ensure accurate document preparation.

Managed Precast Concrete Projects: Led the successful construction of precast concrete projects from inception to delivery. Collaborated with cross- functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution.
Responsibilities:
o Review contracts and proposal from subcontractors. o Scope of work review coordinated with construction documents. o Coordinated resources, equipment supply, and documentation. o Assigned tasks to the project team and provided direction and support. o Ensured project deliverables met schedule and quality standards. o Managed project financials, risk, and client relations.
Contributed to Precast Concrete Manufacturing Process: Collaborated with the design team to create detailed plans for proposals, review, and for construction. Coordinate molds, review steel reinforcement rebars.
Quality Control and Inspection: Conducted thorough inspections during the precast production process to ensure compliance with design specifications, PCI standards, and safety/quality requirements pre and post pour.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Worked closely with engineers, architects, transportation and construction professionals to deliver successful precast projects on time and within budget.
Strict Timelines: Precast concrete projects often face strict timelines. Traditional construction methods can encounter delays due to factors like funding issues, supply chain, weather, or labor shortages. However, precast concrete offers advantages in terms of predictability and speed.
