Recruited by (and report to) the Senior Vice President. Direct a team of 25 multifunctional management and support personnel in 2 buildings. Consult with senior managers and building ownership. Final decision maker for all activities impacting the property.
Consulted with the general contractor during construction of the Williamsburg, Brooklyn property to ensure the building would run smoothly once occupied. Opened the property of 857 apartments,with pools, gyms, parking garages and extensive outdoor space on schedule and prepared it for residents.
oSet up systems within the buildings, established vendor relationships, and purchased equipment, supplies and maintenance services. (Used contacts in the industry to negotiate the best pricing.)
oInterviewed and hired staff. Established the leasing office, gym, lounge, and work areas. Involved with creative directors who staged apartments used as leasing models. Coordinated unit shows and onboarded each new resident.
oMet challenges of addressing and resolving issues with residents and protecting the interests of the property’s owners during the COVID pandemic.
