Well-rounded and results-driven Talent Acquisition leader with 14 years’ experience in nearly every TA role and function, as an individual contributor and leader. Including full-cycle recruitment in all industries and levels, training and development, analytics and technology, and highest-level strategizing and organizational and process modeling.

American Electric Power October 2018 – Present Columbus, OH Talent Acquisition Supervisor

• Direct reports include Recruiters, Coordinators, Sourcing Specialists, and Data Analysts.

• Oversee TA analytics, technology, and reporting

o From being the 1st and only Analyst to overseeing all Analytics and Technology, I’ve created and evolved our analytical and technological capabilities from performance to compliance, forecasting, and diversity hiring success.

o Worked with my Analyst and HRIS to build and rolled out new dashboard reporting capabilities (via BrassRing, Cognos, PowerBI, DirectEmployers and WorkDay)

• Oversee internship programs, such as college and SkillBridge military internships

• Oversee talent sourcing efforts and programs to support hiring needs and diversity goals

• Led or supported most of TA’s enhancements, projects, rollouts, and updates. Such as applicant tracking systems, A.I. to screen applicants, military to civilian skills translator, automated hiring manager and new hire feedback data, reporting dashboards, automated test results. Over the years I’ve worked here, we’ve reduced time to fill, increased diversity, increased offer acceptance rates, enhanced feedback scores, streamlined processes, enhances technology, tools, and reporting, and many more projects and overall benefits of my work.

Nesco Resource January 2014 – June 2018 Columbus, OH Recruiting Manager

• 2016 President’s Club award winner for being a top 5 Recruiter in the country (out of over 400 Recruiters)

• Started as a Recruiter where I averaged around 50-55 reqs at any time, then I was promoted

(personally requested by client leadership) to oversee the contingent staffing program for all their Ohio locations.

• As the only on-site Manager and face of the Nesco/Honeywell Ohio CLP program, I hired, trained & developed, and led a group of Recruiters to support all their contingent hiring needs, from large distribution centers needing hundreds of workers fast, to Engineering, IT, and executive staff at their Aerospace and Sensing and Controls facilities.

• Oversaw all recruiting/onboarding, staffing sales, compliance, analytics, general HR support, vendor management, contract negotiations, and overall program model/strategy.

• Over 150 contractors reported to me for multiple years, which included the day-to-day requests, performance reviews, and all HR support. (Their day-to-day work was overseen by their Honeywell Supervisor, where I handled everything for them on a HR standpoint). There were 3 shifts at the Distribution center, and my cell number was the only number that all 150+ contractors had as their Nesco contact for all the misc. requests.

• Went from a headcount of 20 to over 150 after I took over, while simultaneously increased diversity numbers from applicants to hires.

• Gained national recognition with both Nesco leadership on personal performance metrics/ranking and from Honeywell leadership, on helping them meet their headcount goals, enhancing processes, and increasing diversity.

• Worked in a 3-person rotational model, rotating between Recruiting, placing candidates, and staffing sales.

• Brought in our own staffing business by individually building relationships with some of the world’s most prestigious organizations and competed with dozens of others staffing firms for the sale and the fill.
