Tooling Qualification Creation Protocol
• Evaluate effectiveness of the thermoforming process and new tools to produce part number 341879-03, rev R.
• Capability Study of 30 pieces was performed on 6 different lots, on variable IQC points. Where attribute IQC points were assessed 100% for these 30 pieces.
• Additionally, each lot was inspected with an AQL of 0.65% per lot to IQC parameter on drawing.
• Cpk was needed for two IQC points of part number 341979-03, rev R. Cpk acceptance criteria of Cpk >=1.00 for each. Ppk acceptance criteria (if non-normal) of Ppk>=1.00 for each.
Continuous Improvement Project
• Develop Standard Work to facilitate continuous flow and fully utilize staffing by line balancing manual work content.
• 30% increase in process time improvement on top 80% of parts demand.
