Security Specialist Series: 0080 Grade: NH-03 Service Dates: 04/2014 - Present As a liaison for the military and government personnel requiring and/or maintaining access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAPs), supporting fleets, and supporting agencies. I maintain a thorough understanding of the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security program management and ability to interpret security regulations (Department of Defense SCI Security Manual (DOD 5102.21-M-1)). I report directly to the NAVSEA Special Security Officer (SSO), Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO) and Special Access Program Control Officer (SAPCO), My duties require me to:
Maintain a professional, knowledgeable source of information on the current Department of Defense (DoD) policies, directives, Executive Orders, SECNAVINST, JAFANs, NISPOM, NISPOMSUP, DoD Overprint, and guidelines for special access programs, intel, and security administration. Providing comprehensive cradle to grave security support, analyzing, and implementing risk management based on policies and procedures, ensuring integrity of assigned program(s) and personnel requirements.
Liaison with the Department of Defense, Central Adjudication Facility (DoDCAF) and Regional Special Security Officer (RSSO), resolving personnel issues and provide excellent customer service, on a timely basis to include submission and processing of Security Access Eligibility Reports (SAER) ensuring administrative due process.
Created and overseen the Security, Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) program for all controlled programs.

Also, the liaison between the Program Security Manager, Program Security Officers, command personnel, Naval Facilities, and NAVSEA Intelligence Operations Division. My duties required me to be a professional, knowledgeable source of information on current Department of Defense (DOD) policy, directives, and guidelines for special access program security and administration, including the NISPOM, NISPOMSUP, and the DoD OVERPRINT to the NISPOMSUP. My daily duties required:
