WORK EXPERIENCE :

*Employed as a Senior Account Manager(Team Leader- Sales) at Aramex lanka (pvt) Ltd, Colombo 07.(Years 1998-2005)

My responsibilities were to promote Courier Services offered by Aramex, to the manufacturers, individuals and Exporters of Sri Lanka and also servicing the existing clients in order to increase the volume of business.

( Areas allocated to me was Rathmalana,Biyagama,Katunayake, Avissawella and Colombo.)

* Transferred to the position of Credit Controller at Aramex lanka (pvt) Ltd, (Years 2005/2006).

My responsibilities were to control the receivables from the defaulting customers and to maintain receivables as per the credit terms of Aramex lanka (pvt) Ltd,

(ACP was brought down 54% from 85% within a very short time period)

*Took over the responsibilities of Business Improvement and efficiency Manager ( Quality Assurance ) in August 2006.(2006-2008)

My responsibilities were to maintain the Quality Standards of the Company as per DQMS procedures and make sure that the every department is maintain the quality standards as required by GSO. ( General Service Office In Jordan) and submitting relevant reports to them on regular basis.

ISO 9001:2000 QMS Certificate was retained for 3 consecutive period in 2011.

*Took over the responsibilities of Customer relations Manager in addition to BIE Manager at Aramex lanka (pvt) Ltd, with effect from November 2008 until the retirement. (Years 2008-2014)

My Responsibilities were to submit all required reports to the Management of various departments, with the help of intranet, and also to provide customers with the required information when required and resolve their complaints internationally and locally.

*Joined as a Sales Executive and was promoted to Senior Sales Executive at Mountain Hawk Express ( FEDEX) Colombo 03, ( Air express business was increased by 150% during my stay in the area allocated to me.(Years 1996-1998)

*Joined as a Senior Marketing Executive and was promoted to the Sales Manager at Clarion International Kotte.(1995-1996) Involved in power factor correction (Energy Management) equipment.

*Joined as a Marketing assistant and was promoted to Senior Marketing Executive at Mercantile Credit (Ltd) Colombo. Involved in marketing, Evaluating and Investigating the credibility of an individuals and Co Operate customers in order to offer the finance packages offered by MCL. (1985-1993)
