I would open boxes that had bulk items inside and would use pallet jacks to move pallets of boxes and bins of items. I’ve also unloaded trailers of packages and placed them onto a conveyor belt. Scan and stow items into its designated spot inside the pod for the pickers to then take out.
I pack customers orders, make and tape the box. collect totes from the conveyer and put them in my station to start scanning them to put into the box. label it and send it down the conveyor palletize - i’d take boxes from the conveyor, scan them and place them in the pallet, wrap the pallet once the pallet is full. My position was master of isles. I was in charge of an aisle that was assigned to me. I would take down boxes of shoes from a pallet for pickers and call a forklift to put up and take down the pallets to reach any desired shoe or size.
