Edward Niam is the founder/creator of “Live Your Life of Purpose”, his signature program, which motivates, trains and inspires people to become creators of their own destiny and live a happy, healthy, more focused, productive, prosperous and fulfilling life.

Founder of Spiritual Inspiration Ministries, a multi-faith community whose primary focus is to oversee that extraordinary moment when two hearts join in holy matrimony.

Also provided are commitment ceremonies, vow renewals, spiritual counseling, baptisms and end of life services. Provides life/wellness coaching and pastoral counseling to individuals, groups and corporate clients in the greater Wilmington, NC area and globally.

His mission is to help people find and develop their own power to become happy, healthy, focused, productive, kind, compassionate and loving. Has extensively studied world religions including Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism and Islam.

Edward is a Grand Master of Shaolin Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Tui Na, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Meditation and has been helping people utilize the secrets of health and wellness therapies for many years.

Founded Tai Chi Institute USA and created ~The Movement of Life~ which provides training for people of all ages to improve their mental, physical and spiritual health through concepts found in Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Meditation, Shaolin Kung Fu and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

Established the Shan Sing School of Chinese Martial Arts and holds the rank of Black Sash.

Created "Out of Danger", a self-defense system that provides people with the hands-on skills needed to protect them in any situation.

Founded Athlete Training USA utilizing the Shaolin Warrior Athlete Training “SWAT” program which enables athletes to reach their full potential and join the ranks of the Elite.

Creator of "Parkinson's Tai Chi Therapy" which provides the tools necessary to improve the physical, spiritual and emotional lives of those diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.

Coach/Trainer at InMotion in Beachwood, Ohio working with people diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.

Served as President of the Board of Trustees, Director of Development/Fundraising and a faculty member of the non-profit, Dance Institute of The University of Akron. Responsible for raising most of the operating funds for 7 years.

Director of Development/Fundraising for the non-profit, Children’s Ballet Theatre responsible for raising most of the operating funds for 8 years.

President and CEO of Corporate Solutions, Inc. which provided nationwide employment background screening and training and development to human resources professionals.

Formerly president of Niam Investigations, Inc., that specialized in combating white collar crime and successfully prosecuted the first industrial espionage case in the state of Ohio and one of five in the U.S.

Served as Director of Investigations for the Summit County Prosecutor’s Office with the focus on prosecuting criminal and civil fraud and public corruption.

Authored numerous published articles regarding employment background screening which have appeared in national publications such as USA Today Magazine and Employment Management Today.

Published articles in Balanced Living Magazine, Inside Kung Fu Magazine and others relating to Chinese martial arts and Tai Chi.

Proficient in MS Office, built and maintains three websites and a Linkedin/ Facebook Influencer.

Received a BA in History/Political Science/Philosophy from The University of Akron.

Graduated from the Summit County Sheriff’s Academy and the Special Weapons and Tactics Training (SWAT) in London Ohio.

Served on the boards of the American Society for Industrial Security, the Society for Human Resource Management, the Information Systems Security Association, the Children’s Ballet Theatre and the Silver Lake Country Club Celebrity Golf Classic—proceeds benefiting the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Served on the board and was a Founding Member of the Fitzgerald Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies and the College of Business Administration Alumni Board at The University of Akron.

Previously instructed in Junior Achievement and for 10 years taught in the “Akron After School Program” working with at risk children from first through fifth grade.
