HSS Job Title: Crisis Behavioral Health Professional
Length of Assignment: Contract 9+ months, possibility to convert but no guarantee
Compensation Notes: 35 - 40/hr. (Dependent on experience and interview)
Shift: Thursday - Saturday 5:30am - 3:30pm, Sunday 6am-4pm AZ Time zone and subject to change
Location: Fully remote
Education: Bachelor's degree, masters preferred
License, must have one of the following in the current state they live in:
Licensed Professional Counselor; Licensed Clinical Social Worker; Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist; Licensed Psychologist; Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor, Licensed Associate Counselor; Licensed Associate Substance Abuse Counselor; Licensed Masters Social Worker; Registered Nurse, Licensed Social Worker, Supervisee in Clinical Social Work, Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Experience:
2-3 years of Behavioral Health experience on a crisis line and triaging
Must possess and demonstrate strong abilities in data entry, typing, call documentation and customer service skills including active listening.
Flexible to shifts depending on business - if time off is needed they are seeking a candidate who wants to make up the hours
This department is open 24/7 so they need a candidate who understands this and that the HMs may ask once in a while to work a diff shift due to staffing needs. We want to ensure now that candidates are okay with this, flexible, team player, and are comfortable with this with their work life balance. Please spend time going
Day to Day Duties:
Provides clinical information and education for inbound calls and outbound calls
Triages behavioral health crisis calls.
Uses established protocols and independent professional judgment.
Documents assessment, plans, interventions and results
Answer incoming behavioral health calls and triage based on need
Properly document calls while actively listening and providing support
Relay service and resource information to members/ callers
