I noticed the opening for WH Operations Manager with your company. My initial thought was this is an opportunity for me. First let me introduce myself.

I am Glen Snider. I live in the Syracuse area for the past 24 Years. I did retire four years ago and at that time had significant issues that plagued me from performing at my best. So, what did I do? I weighed significantly more than I do now. I have over the last year lost one-hundred-twenty-five pounds. I feel amazing. I also converted to Catholicism which in total allowed me to deal both spiritually and physically with my life.

Given the changes in my life I have realized that I still have value to offer. But I am particularly picky about the opportunities. Given that I have experience in cGMP manufacturing principles, and I am what I would call a Lean Practitioner I am only interested in industry that offers these types of challenges. To clarify, I am not a trained Lean Six Sigma person, or do I hold certificates in the Toyota Manufacturing principles my success is that I love lean theory and through working with other Lean Practitioners have experienced amazing change in organizations.

To include warehouse operations.

I am passionate about safety and deeply stooped in the idea that we standardize our processes. We do not improve without following the standard. However, with continuous improvement as the guide we can offer ideas, change the standard and train.

I have managed plants in the role of Operations Manager with as many as 750 employees and as few as fifty. The leadership principles are the same. People love to believe they matter, and I believe they do. We are charged as leaders to find the value all employees offer.

There isn’t anything on your list of requirements that I have not managed and have been a part in the decision maker role.

As I am writing this letter, I realize that you saw the word retired and might have recoiled a bit, but I assure you I am a passionate exciting leader and offer value and promise success.

Let’s Chat!
