A Present Position and Experience

• During my tenure, I negotiated contracts and agreements with stakeholders, community leaders, operation staff and vendors. Tasked with various roles in management from the Project manager, Principal of College, human resources, procurement, Training oversight and facilitation, etc.

• Planned and allocated the operational budget, centre setup budget and future projection budget for the 3 years.

• Worked closely with the architects and building team to customize the college according to the QCTO recommended rules and quality systems.

• Setup the physical training and workplace infrastructures and purchased all necessary equipment and tools and machinery as well as engaged with the local authorities for the necessary compliance certificates and utility services to operate this centre of higher learning.

• Procured and equipped all the relevant materials, equipment and stock consumables for the workshops, training laboratories and for the staff administration.

• Developed the QMS (policies and procedures) and implemented the system processes with staff and other key stakeholders.

• Negotiated the accreditation of the institution with the QCTO, MerSETA, MICT SETA and Services SETA sector education authorities for the institute and for program approvals.

• Registered the Institute as a NPO/C and PBO entity.

• Recruited and trained all staff for their designated roles.

• Planned daily activities and control system deliverables.

• Recruited all facilitator, together with the Assessors and Moderators for each learning program.

• Monitored and evaluated the training team and administered then documentation required for learner SETA uploading and registration for the individual training programs.

• Supervised staff and managed the Administration office.
