Nursing is in my blood. Growing up I witnessed my mother leave for work at the hospital and often got to visit her there. I heard many nursing stories about assessments, quality patient care, and joint commission. I was fascinated with my aunt’s flight nurse suit and equipment. My nursing career was firmly built from a child up. As a baby nurse in the ER, I remember watching several nurse practitioners in action and wanting to go the distance. I yearned to expand my knowledge, skill set, and scope of practice. I continue to be eager and motivated to expand my journey as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I am excited about the challenge of learning new skills and taking on a new role. I will continue to keep my reputation as a reliable, dependable and trustworthy co-worker to my next employer.
