Hired as a temporary worker by Zing Recruiters, initially hired as a Sanitizer, which took care of washing and sanitizing of portable tanks, compounders tanks, electric pumps as well as hand pumps, and drums used for mixing small batches of product.

Once hired as permanent in May 2021, I was promoted to Forklift Operator and Compounder Support tech.

FORKLIFT OPERATOR/COMPOUNDER SUPPORT – 05/2021-10/2023

Duties included:

•Lifting approx. 50LB

•Check workload requirements and confirm materials needed.

•Make sure forklift is charged and in good working condition and all ready to go.

•Checking in with associates (compounder) that I would be working with each day.

•Work with 2-4 Compounders per shift.

•Confirm materials needed and retrieve materials from compounders list from the warehouse. Product is stored in specific areas of the warehouse. We use a computerized Inventory program to locate specific product needed for compounders.

•Material transfer needed from the warehouse to production floor or other departments when needed.

•Assist compounders in any manner they require in order to meet deadlines.

•Secure pallets with material, which is packed in drums, to the warehouse, which are coded with location. I will use an RF scanner to confirm the location and place the product in the proper area.

•Replenishing support - make sure that tanks are filled with product for compounders, current shift and following shift,

•Removal of all scrap(drums) to scrap trailer.

•Keep Warehouse clean of debris, material residue and use of scrubber to maintain floor free of oil, to maintain the safety of coworkers and the facility itself.

•Knowledge of fire safety procedures, use of extinguishers and personal safety equipment, re: goggles/masks/gloves/shoes/helmets/clothing
