Other duties of the Administration manager are to oversee schedules, deadlines, office events, and projects. I also monitor costs and expenses to help prepare budgets.

I was responsible for analyzing costs for indirect material for 5 plants in the US. I manage the purchasing of machines, facilities, car leases, tooling, HR contracts, office supplies and setting up suppliers. I have shown our team negotiation points and share idea to help achieve the best price and terms available. I also provided support and training to the team regarding the use of SAP and SRM. As a team we negotiated contracts that support ElringKlinger and save EK money. My goal was to have a well-trained and versatile team that communicate well and supports one another to exceed the goals and expectations of EK. During my time at EK we used SAP.
Kubota Manufacturing of America: Analyst / Purchasing Agent May 2018 – April 2022
I have been responsible for purchasing over $60M worth of fabricated metal, labels, bearings, bushings, relays and cable components that were used to build Kubota residential and industrial units. I achieved annual savings goals or 1% of total spend by assisting suppliers with their efficiency and shortening lead times through Kaizen, QRM, lean and 5S. Monitored the quality of parts and ensured that suppliers identify the issues through root cause analysis. Selected suppliers based on lead time, quality, price, and capability. Ensured the on-time delivery of product. Performed supplier performance improvement projects by conducting audits and training suppliers. During my time at Kubota, we used AS400 as the ERP purchasing program.

Performed cost savings analysis. Placed orders to support production from 50 suppliers and ensured on time delivery of goods. Developed and managed a supportive, responsive, and value-added supply chain. During this time, we used Syteline as our operational ERP system.

I was responsible for $3.7M in repairs. Coordinated technical support. Ordered, inventoried, and acquired repair parts for over 300 machines, 36 forklifts, 305 welding machines, and 186 chain hoists. Saved the company $35,000 per year by doing in-house repairs of circuit boards, hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders.

During my 20-year career I have had the honor in serving in several positions of leadership to include First Lieutenant, Calibration Coordinator, Educational Services Officer, Drug and Alcohol Program Administrator, and Department Leading Petty Officer. All of these include training and mentoring a team, assisting them to achieve the Commands goals and mission. Some of my personal accomplishments include one Commendation medal, nine Achievement medals, and Sailor of the Year at Naval Ordnance Test Unit, Cape Canaveral FL. While I was on active duty, I served onboard three nuclear submarines and at 3 shore duty commands.
