Summary of Accomplishments
Describe your qualifications for this vacancy by providing a brief description of your accomplishments that demonstrate that you possess the requirements stated on the job posting. These accomplishments may have occurred in various settings.
1.When providing carriers with daily instructions, I utilize various reports such as DOIS and PET tool, to provide carriers with accurateleave and return time. I set expectations, monitor the work room floor. I oversee the dock area, complete gate checks and 1838 mail counts. My ability to analyze all daily reports has allowed my station to be under 60 minuets in the office daily.
2.Ensuring accurate and timely delivery is essential to maintain the office status. I monitor the Vap report after reviewing the Vap report, Inotice that there are a few areas of concern. Our mail trips are 30mins behind. The late mail causes the carriers to wait on mail daily with average DUT at 9:00. I investigate and make contact with the plant supervisor and collaborated together on a solution on getting the truck to my unit sooner. This situation impacted the Firestone station daily. The results were timely trips, carriers out of the office 30 to 45 minutes, and customers satisfied with timely delivery.
3.I'm very knowledgeable in window operations for policy and procedures to successfully pass a RCE shop. I monitor the SSRD and setexpectations with each SSA. In my current role at the Firestone Station, a clerk failed a RCE mystery shop with a score of 80%, I
investigated it, and found the Hazmat Failure. I identified the clerk, reviewed documentation, and schedule a PDI. The clerk stated in PDI, "It was due to system malfunction." She had the ticket number from the help desk. My abilities to investigate allowed for the RSS to be replaced and no one being harmed.
4.With my knowledge of provisions at the Firestone station; I have to reduce O.T. created by penalty. I fix the scheduling by pivoting to12% of the routes and hiring 3 CCA's, my O.T. penalty decreased by 90%, causing us to be below base plan hours at 195 also eliminating 85F violations.
5.I use my ability to investigate a c360 case for package inquiry. When accessing the case, I first gather all information. Track the packageand GEO locate where and when the package was scanned. Once I collected all information, I found the package. Contact the customer and let her know that I was sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused, let her know that it will be delivered the next day. I was able to make the initial contact and resolve the case within the first 24 hours of the case being created. Creating a satisfied customer.
6.Using my ability to manage groups I observed a carrier with attendance issues. I monitor her attendance, I pull TACS, and ERMs; deep dive into her 3971's; schedule a 3792 and look over her 30,60,90 due to my investigating I found that she called off 5 times in the last 90 days. I then look for 3791's for the dates and found none; with my decision-making skills I schedule a PDI and found that she has been having car trouble and back issues, with no documentation. After which I used my management skill and issue a LOW!. My ability to notice the inconsistency's and set expectations for the whole office, lead me to hold the carrier accountable and gain respect from carriers.
7.While pulling my AM reports I detected some street inactivity events beyond the break and lunch times. I investigate by pulling DMS; transfer the information to Microsoft excel to compare the 1564 with the newly pulled data. I set expectation in my AM walk around; I share my finds and ask questions. As I give the leave and return time, I also remind the carriers to keep their scanners on them to decrease the stationary events when taking breaks. When I did my daily data review; my stationary went from 46 to 19 in one day. Using my skills to analyze data caused resulted in decrease street inactivity events and reliable data for the office.
8.As opening supervisor at Firestone, I have to budget our plan work hours, and reduce penalty O.T. First thing Monday morning, I pull E
Flash and analyze the plan. I Then calculate the plan by divide 1,188 by 6 and getting 198. I create a plan by pivoting in the office and using O.T.D.L to project plan or below base at 195, therefore reducing penalty O.T and saving work hours, resulted in better street performance and compliance for projected office and street time.
9.As supervisor at Firestone my first opening Saturday I had a carrier refuse downtime. When doing AM walk around, I instructed 30minsdowntime, she yelled and refused to carry her downtime. I asked her to lower her tone and explain to me why. She stated she had plans right after work. I let her know I was sorry and not aware. I also explained that it was downtime, not extra time and so she would still be able to make her engagement. I let her know that this would result in failure to follow instructions and could lead to a discipline. Walked away to continue my AM walk, once she got mail cased at 18/8, she apologized and took the downtime and made it back in 8 hours. With my leadership skills and conflict resolution, and not backing down the carrier got all mail delivered and back in her allotted time.
10.Using my time management skills I review DMOS and detected excessive backing from a couple carriers. I performed 4584, going overmy finding with each carrier, when pulling the report, the next day I noticed I had no excessive backings. As a result, my carriers are now optimizing maximum safety and we were off the excessive back report.
