Fully using my design, purchasing, and sales experience in both a corporate environment and later as a contracted vendor. As a corporate employee I began my career as a Design Purchasing Manager. Throughout my decade long position, I was continually promoted to, and eventually achieved, Corporate Director of Design. In this position I was responsible for a design and sales staff of eighteen in golf resorts in Florida, Texas, Arizona, and California. I lead my team to success in nearly forty development projects, including more than 1400 model homes and condominiums, as well as work in the entertainment industry with HGTV’s Dream Home and ABC’s Extreme Makeover.
As a contracted vendor I continued my work with this previous employer and expanded my efforts to include similar companies within the industry while also building a portfolio of individual clients designing vacation homes in the US and Baja, Mexico.
This position included a high level of travel, speaking, sales, at industry shows and conferences.
