Arkansas State University -- 6/1979

Studies in electrical engineering after testing out of all but 4 hours of required courses. Entered ASU as a 2nd semester Sophomore. Lacked 3 hours entering as a Junior. I Utilized those hours to assist in completion of Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Average GPS was 3.69 with distinction. B.S.E.E. + M.S. Minor was is Radio Broadcasting with a 3.88 gpa.

WORK EXPERIENCE

I worked my way through college in broadcast radio and part time work. I worked shifts at 2 local radio stations in an on-air capacity. After graduation from college, I secured a position at a new radio station. WGKX, KIX-106 FM, Memphis TN during the years of 1984 to 1986 as Morning Air Personality. #3 in the Market over all radio stations 1986 – 1994 – KYNG-FM, Dallas, TX, Morning Team at New Top 5 Market Country Station. Introduced Garth Brooks, Brooks and Dunn, and Wynonna to Country Radio in America at Texas Stadium. #1 in Market 1994 – 1998 – TN-TX Engineering/Installation – Technical, broadcast, and Telecom engineering. Installation of some of the first digital equipment in the broadcast, networking, and cellular telephone systems in America for multiple carriers. Tested for Master Electrician licenses.

Alpine Power Systems, Inc., West TN office and Southern Region 1998–present: Hired as Service Manager and grew/developed to Regional Operations Manager, Southeast Region. Responsible for 5 locations (Profit Centers) and all technicians employed at each location in addition to subcontractors as required. Hired, trained, scheduled, and supervised service technicians. Handled Sales, system design and installation, working with contractors, customers, and multiple corporations to ensure quality installations and workmanship. Have provided services and programs for corporate office in Redford, MI as well as many service employees.
