This is our own small business operated by me and my husband. We sell locally at fairs and festivals selling our dog themed products. Customer service/ dispatch. I was hired as call taker/customer service and was quickly promoted to helping with the Nelson department, which is dispatching calls for the military commissaries. Dispatching for the commissaries is time sensitive as a technician is to be on site within 2 hours. I had to quickly respond to the calls that came into the office. If there were questions on a sub-contractor to use, I would have to reach out to the Area Service Manager for that particular commissary to have help locating a subcontractor for that site.

Broda is a division of Mity Inc., headquartered in Orem, Utah. Broda sold and manufactured custom-made wheelchairs. My role with the company was to send orders to the manufacturing department via the company software database. Orders were taken by phone and email communication with the customers. I also assisted with the daily invoicing of orders that shipped. Sent follow up emails to customers with order tracking information.
Call Center Representative
Kemper Home Service Companies - Maryland Heights, MO May 2017 to December 2017
Maryland Height, MO. This position was with the United Insurance of America Division of the Kemper Company. Job duties involved taking inbound calls generally from family members and funeral homes regarding an insured's life insurance policies. I assisted with filing claims and seeing that they had all the needed forms for submitting a claim. Kemper insurance also provided property and supplemental health insurance coverage. As a representative, we were responsible for sending emails directly to the claim's adjusters regarding an insured's claim, and then were to follow up the information we obtained from the adjuster with the caller.

This position is for handling inbound sales calls into the call center from existing customers and new customers needing assistance with setting up the service for cable, internet and voice. I was able to be moved to a work at-home representative in September 2004. I was also a representative for the large employer group accounts. I was promoted to work in the Provider Service Unit - a group of dedicated employees to work directly with the provider community to aid in the processing of chronically problematic claims. At the time of departure from UHC, I was working in the provider unit paying provider claims after researching why they were having difficulties getting their claims paid.
