Confronted with new paradigms, every organization must adapt to survive. Adaptation naturally evolves from the integration of new ideas and concepts. Getting to this point requires an out of the box thinker that is not afraid of employing new perspectives.
Focusing on the integration of diverse technologies and coordinating multiple disciplines, has proven me capable of designing long-term repeatable solutions that will ultimately establish efficient operations of mission-critical environments. Primary Achievements / Notable Skills
Ø Lead Design Engineer and SME for mission critical elements of large Enterprise organizations Ø Managed and/or designed close to 1million square feet of tier III/IV Data Center space Ø Coordinated the integration of completely disparate network security environments Ø Proficient in AutoCAD for 2-D and basic 3-D drafting, Sketchbook Pro, Photoshop, CorelDraw, and Laser engraving/cutting software{Retina Engrave and Moshi Draw} Ø Visual Basic programming, Excel Pivot Tables
Ø Currently training with Python, Raspberry Pi, and web-based content delivery methods Parker Healey Design & Engineering {PQHDESIGNS} Owner

{June 2015 – October 2016} - Delaware Technology Center - Owners Representative coordinating the infrastructure installation at JPMC’s newest campus consisting of (2) – three story buildings and attached parking facilities. Provided all design details related to project specifications and coordinated with all trades as well as project Architects and the overseeing Project Management Office.
Comcast / Xfinity (via contract @ Brooksource) Engineer/Manager, Regional Data Center Deployment
{August 2014 - April 2015} - Deployed Cloud DVR 40G infrastructure at regional Co-location Data Center facilities. Automated connectivity schedules and installation documentation utilizing Pivot Tables (Excel) and Visual Basic. CommScope Inc. Manager, Project Data Center Design
{August 2012 - May 2013} - Expanded existing partnership/certification program to include services within a manufacturing environment. Presented Multi-Tenant (Co-location) Data Center standard around a modular Leaf-Spine network. Merrill Lynch / Bank of America Principal Consultant
{June 1999 - May 2012} - Senior Consulting Engineer (SME) on all Bank of America/Merrill Lynch data center projects. Furnished RFP documents and managed bid process including contractor meetings and leveling reviews. Maintained budgeting models and financial controls throughout projects. Integration of technology infrastructures alongside Global Facilities groups, architects, engineering firms and GC’s. Maintained quality control levels and administered contract details. Overhead infrastructure design for IBM and Dell blade server cabinets resulting in $700,000 immediate savings Significant Projects – CSTechnology (Bank of America) Dallas, TX (Data Center re-fit) - Tier IV Production Data Center in Dallas, TX consisting of Four Data Halls totaling 60,000 sq. ft. constructed over three separate phases. Dedicated SAN and IP network infrastructures. Initial implementation of Nexus cabinet system design as required for high-density cooling challenges. Dallas, TX Expansion Projects – Two new buildings with 20,000 sq.ft. raised-floor expansion space built adjacent to existing data center facilities. Outside plant infrastructure design and initial implementation of above cabinet (overhead) switch and cable management standards.
Staten Island Expansion – Expanded server cabinet availability within an overly dense environment by reallocating user spaces and optimizing the use of existing raised floor space. Efficient network design and cable routing decisions became critical elements in this migration.
Levittown, PA Expansion – Built within an open warehouse space a 20,000 sq.ft. raised floor space. Phased in an additional 2MW of power to the existing 24x7 production data center. Independently designed overhead system for switch placement and cable routing with an integrated solution for hot-aisle containment environments. Overhead system accommodated Cisco Nexus equipment without compromising cold-air distribution to critical equipment. Greenfield Projects – Involved with initial design and coordination of two new production facilities to be constructed over two years. Each facility was to consist of 4-6 data halls with 20,000 sq. ft. of Tier IV production space per hall. South America – Sao Paulo, Brazil – Oversaw the transformation of three floors of existing office space including trading spaces and data center facilities. Second project included a new fit-out of Bank of America offices consisting of five user floors with some trader areas and small data. Audited and reviewed current technology spaces to update headquarters documentation and cable records. Montevideo, Uruguay – Audited and reviewed condition of offices, trading environments and support facilities. Created detailed report defining issues for future consolidation projects. Significant Projects – Merrill Lynch
Data Center Project - Levittown, Pennsylvania – 65,000 sq. ft. Tier IV data center with 2N power systems. New outside plant infrastructure and integration of existing carrier facilities. Hot-cold aisle free-air cooling system with modularized areas for server cabinets and business group separation.
* Developed brief on efficiency metrics with proposals for high-density cabinet space Securities Trading- Tokyo, Japan - 20 story PACRIM Headquarters offices with trading floors and data center space. Travel as required negotiating contract details with installation firms, product manufacturers and consultants. Campus – Hopewell, NJ – 1.5 million sq. ft. of office space on a 12-building campus with 2 production data center facilities and multiple laboratory or development spaces. Total of $18million dollar communications budget that included the initial Cisco VOIP implementation for Merrill Lynch.
