WORK EXPERIENCE:

June 2009 – March 2020: Caregiver contracting with the New Jersey Department of Developmental Disabilities (DDD);

Responsibilities consist of twenty hour care for two adult males with developmental disabilities, including administering medications, preparing daily meals, providing transportation to doctor appointments, providing entertainment, educational activities, and more. Other duties consist of cleaning the resident bedrooms, making up beds, sweeping & mopping the floor, and cleaning the bathrooms after residents have showered. Also responsible for cleaning the kitchen after cooking dinner and taking out the trash.

March 2008 – 2010: Teacher(s) Aide / Archway School, Atco, New Jersey;

Duties consist of working one-on-one with students with multiple disabilities. Assisting in the implementation of the program under the direction of the head teacher. Treating all children with dignity and respect. Assisting in planning and preparing the learning environment, setting up interest centers and preparing needed materials and supplies.

November 2007 – 2010: Residential Counselor / Family Service of County, Mt. Holly, New Jersey;

Responsible for adults 21 years old and over with Developmental Disabilities. Duties consist of providing supervision, guidance, and direction to consumers within the home. Participate in developing and implementing the individual treatment plan for each consumer. Administration and documentation of all medications scheduled during the shift along with recording significant shift happenings / observation in the daily log. Other duties consist of cleaning the resident bedrooms, making up beds, sweeping & mopping the floor, and cleaning the bathrooms after residents have showered. Also responsible for cleaning the kitchen after cooking dinner and taking out the trash.

March 2007 – 2010: Residential Youth Counselor / Crossroads, Willingboro, New Jersey;

Duties consist of mentoring six teenagers soon to be adults, and helping them develop the necessary life skills in order to thrive in both the academic and corporate environment. Daily tasks are to lead group discussions, taking them to work and running errands, watching over the clients, staff, the property, and the assets within. Organizing and delegating duties to other staff members, and recording daily events within a company log. Other duties consist of cleaning the resident bedrooms, making up beds, sweeping & mopping the floor, and cleaning the bathrooms after residents have showered. Also responsible for cleaning the kitchen after cooking dinner and taking out the trash.

November 2005 – September 2007: Behavioral Care Specialist / Center Family for Guidance, Camden, New Jersey;

Responsible for more than ten psychiatric diagnosed children of both genders ages 14 to 17 within Virtua Hospital with suicidal tendencies, depression, anxiety, and post traumatic syndromes due to abuse. Duties consisted of leading daily group discussions in order to improve the self-esteem of troubled teens, monitoring behavior for the safety of every child and the staff, creating daily agendas and programs in order to open communication and ultimately uplift the clients from despair. Keeping notes and events recorded within a daily log. Other duties consist of cleaning the resident bedrooms, making up beds, sweeping & mopping the floor, and cleaning the bathrooms after residents have showered. Also responsible for cleaning the kitchen after cooking dinner and taking out the trash.

September 2003 – January 2005: Residential Counselor / Bancroft NeuroHealth, Voorhees, New Jersey;

Duties were to perform daily vital tasks for three mentally and physically challenged adults by administering their medicine(s), bathing, food and liquids, and entertainment. Handled errands and driving as necessary. Also coordinated with the help of other staff members daily agendas and recorded all events and activities within company journal / log. Other duties consist of cleaning the resident bedrooms, making up beds, sweeping & mopping the floor, and cleaning the bathrooms after residents have showered. Also responsible for cleaning the kitchen after cooking dinner and taking out the trash.

January 1999 – July 2005: Dietitian Chef / Evergreen Retirement Community Center, Moorestown, New Jersey;

Responsibilities consisted of cooking daily meals for more than 700 elderly clients, inpatients and company staff. Duties included helping prepare the daily menu in order to maintain a healthy balance, cooking special order items for special needs patients, keeping the cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas and sometimes serving orders as needed.

April 2020 - November 2020: Docking Ship / Amazon, Burlington, New Jersey;

Responsibilities consisted of loading Amazon trucks with packages and scanning package codes, then organizing the packages and putting them in their proper places. Duties also consisted of helping anywhere else that was needed such as; CPT time which was quickly packaging items onto carts and trucks.

September 2022 - October 2024: Package Handler IC / FedEx, Braseltone, Georgia;

Responsibilities consist of lifting heavy weight packages, separating overweight from light packages and organizing them to put them on the conveyor belt to scan. Duties also consist of assisting other coworkers with packages and helping anywhere that is needed.
