I started out as a Machine press operator, I tend to learn and retain information quickly and was able to learn multiple machines and work processes. Within my first year at stant I worked my way through 3 departments learning every machine and skill they would allow, including cycle count/inventory clerk. I quickly became a team lead after only 3 months on the job, then cycle count, and my final and favorite position a weld repair tech. I would tig weld fuel filler pipeline for Chrysler, GM, and Ford. Along with a few other manufacturers who purchased from us. I learned many skills in industrial manufacturing, management, processes and procedures of machine operations and technical skills for light maintenance and set up. I was chosen by stant to be in a program through Ivy Tech to obtain my industrial manufacturing management certification. I became and OTJ trainer. I learned many skills throughout my time with stant, skills I will carry with me for a life time.
