The Western Area Power Administration annually markets and delivers more than 25,000 gigawatt-hours of reliable, cost-based hydropower from power plants at 57 Federal dams to rural electric cooperatives, municipalities, public utility districts, Federal and state agencies, Native American tribes and irrigation districts. The Sierra Nevada Region is one of five offices in the Western Area Power Administration. SN markets power in northern and central California, and portions of Nevada, to wholesale customers and federal end-use customers such as towns, rural electric cooperatives, public utility and irrigation districts, federal, state, and military agencies, Native American tribes and U.S. Bureau of Reclamation customers. AutoCAD release 2022. Drawing archive responsibilities through 6 regions within the United States. Responsible for the training and code enforcement of WAPA drafting standards. Title blocks to dashboard set-up of AutoCad tools for 19 Professional Engineers. Field red and green mark-ups. X-Refs and layer control. Plotting configuration. Confirm scale, model space and paper space with the three major disciplines – Electrical – Mechanical – Civil. Security level “Confidential”.

Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to set up, prepare and manage construction drawings. Prepare dimensional drawings, create, and modify base drawings using AutoCAD release 2022. Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes. Create and manage electronic document file structure, naming conventions in accordance with Federal Government standards. Prepare project documents from beginning to end with professional quality output. Work on multiple projects at the same time to successful completion. Follow CAD standards, whether the customer’s or in house Engineers. Work with project teams on drawings that meet and exceed the customer’s requirements (bid and submittal phase).
