Trained myself and small design team on how to laser scan the OEM existing structure and post process .stl files into useable CAD data using Catia’s REE, DSE and QSR modules. C^3 - A320 Cargo Conversion
Lead a 10-person design team to reverse engineer and model the OEM structure. Subcontracted and supervised laser scanning of fwd and aft nonconstant sections of the A320- 200 OML. Refined raw .stl and offsets to define the Master Geometry IML surface. Organized and supervised various other interior scans and post processed data to provide baseline OEM structures. Designed the surround structure for the new MDCD and CED. Designed all the constant and non constant section rolled and stretch formed skins and doublers, detail and installation drawings. Supervised offsite contractors to develop the co-pilot cockpit egress. Organized and presented all areas of responsibility to customers and clients for sales and marketing as well as our internal ITCM, PDR, CDR meetings. Founded Artifact Snowboards where I manufactured snowboards, skis and skateboards for several O.E.M’s. In addition to the day-to-day responsibilities of running a business, marketing, negotiating contracts, hiring, training, scheduling employees, research and development, I also designed and fabricated, in house, all my own tooling, dies, molds and presses. Created novel design incorporating Carbon and Basalt Rock Fiber matrix lamination schedules. Manufactured over 17,000 snowboards. Sponsored amateur riders that competed in and won several Slalom and Boarder Cross events against Burton and Sims team riders. Computer Skills:
